Questions we get asked
Ordering, shipping, storage, returns and everything else people ask across the counter. If your question isn't here, call us — we don't mind.
Where are you located?
Our shop is at 2632 Wildwood Street, Boardman, OH 44512. We're the narrow storefront with the green door, about three minutes off Market Street, with free street parking directly out front.
What are your opening hours?
Tuesday to Friday 10am–6pm, Saturday 9am–4pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday, and on federal holidays. Phone and email are answered on the days we're open.
How do I place an order?
Call 330-717-1432 or email media@alliceteaspot.com with what you'd like and your delivery address. We'll confirm the total and take card payment over the phone, or you can pay at pickup. There is no online checkout on this site.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and cash at the counter. Phone orders are charged by card. We do not store card details after a transaction is completed.
How much is shipping?
Flat $5 for USPS Ground Advantage anywhere in the 50 states, and free on orders over $45. Orders placed before 2pm on a business day usually ship the same day.
How long will delivery take?
Typically 2–5 business days within the US. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as the label is printed.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at present. Customs paperwork on food products makes it impractical for an operation our size. We'll update this page if that changes.
Can I return tea I don't like?
Unopened tins and pouches can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. If you've opened it and genuinely don't get on with it, contact us anyway — see our Returns & Refunds page.
Is your tea organic?
Some of it. Around a third of what we stock is certified organic, and it's marked as such on the shelf label and the tin. We don't claim organic status for blends that aren't.
Do you have caffeine-free options?
Yes — our rooibos, chamomile, peppermint and fruit infusions contain no caffeine at all. Decaffeinated black tea is a different thing and we don't stock it, because we've never tasted one we liked.
How should I store my tea?
Sealed, dark, dry, cool and away from strong smells. The tin it came in is ideal. Don't refrigerate or freeze it — condensation ruins leaf faster than air does.
How long does loose leaf tea keep?
Black and roasted oolong hold up for about two years. Green and white teas are best within twelve months. Herbals fade in aroma after a year but remain perfectly safe.
Do you do wholesale?
We supply a handful of local cafés and restaurants by the pound. Email media@alliceteaspot.com with your expected monthly volume and we'll send pricing.
Do you offer gift boxes?
Yes — a four-pouch sampler in a kraft box with brewing cards is $28, and we'll write a card by hand if you tell us what to say. Gift certificates are available in any amount.
Do you host tastings?
We run a free walk-in tasting every Saturday morning, and private group tastings for six to twelve people by arrangement. Call to book one.
Is the shop accessible?
The counter is at ground level with no step from the sidewalk, and the doorway is 34 inches wide. There is no customer restroom. See our Accessibility page for detail.
Still stuck? Call 330-717-1432 during shop hours, or email media@alliceteaspot.com and we'll normally reply the same business day. Page last reviewed March 4, 2026.
